Ever since Nagarjuna took over Maa tv he wanted the channel to be hep and fresh. Lot of things changed including the logo. One of the major pointers for this change is the youthful serial 'Yuva'. Annapurna studios marked its entry into t.v production with this serial. The serial which is contemporary and stylish instead of sentimental and crying which we see in regular sops has captured many hearts and also gave a energitic image to the channel. The serial has a starcast of Rashmi, Krishna, Karuna, Vasu, Viswa, Monali and and later vidya. It had guest appearances by Rajamouli and Anushka too. The title song for the serial is composed by Mickey J.Mayor.
Yuva has now reached its deadline. And since its not like the routine daily serials the dragging bit is not there. But Yuva is loosely inspired by english serial Friends. friends generally used to have a break for some days and would come back with new episodes as season 2, season 3 etc. Hope yuva also follows the same pattern and stages a comeback.
